　　It's hard to keep up with technology,especially when science fiction becomes science fact.For tens of years,we have watched movies about a future with flying cars. This week, we see a real one.

　　AirCar, which is from a company called Klein Vision, happens to be the world's first flying car.It can fly about 1,000 km,at a height of 8,200 ft, and has remained up to 40 hours in the air so far. It takes only two minutes and 15 seconds for it to transform from an aircraft to a car. It can carry only two people,with a combined weight limit of 200 kg.

　　On June 29, AirCar completed a test flight between two cities in Slovakia,spending almost 35 minutes in the air. After landing in Bratislava,the aircraft transformed into a car and was driven into the city center by Klein Vision CEO Stefan Klein and company co-founder(共同創(chuàng)始人)Anton Zajac. They described the experience as“normal"and"very pleasant".

　　The future possibilities are very important for this flying car.Because depending on them,people will actually know if flying cars would be accessible(可獲得的) to them or not. Anton said if the company could attract even a small percentage of global airline or taxi sales,it would be hugely successful.“

　　There are about 40,000 orders of aircraft in the US alone,"he said. Uber showed plans for an electric flying taxi last year. Volkswagen said in February that it was looking into flying vehicles in China. Meanwhile,Porsche,Daimler and Toyota have all backed start-ups(新創(chuàng)辦企業(yè))in what is known as the“electric vertical takeoff and landing industry”.

　　One thing is quite clear that the industry will be taking a very interesting turn after this breakthrough. As the customers, we can just wait for a ride in a super cool flying car.
