形容詞、副詞的最高級

如果我們要將三個或三個以上的事物進行比較時，那么我們就要用形容詞或副詞的最高級形式來表達。

例如:

Lingling’s home is the closest to school.

家離學校最近

It is the most comfortable way,but it is also the most expensive.

這是最舒適的方式，但也是最貴的。

Tony lives the farthest from school.

托尼住得離學校最遠

形容詞和副詞的最高級變化規則如下

1.單音節和少數雙音節單詞 一般在詞尾加-est

long -longest

2.以字母e結尾的詞直接加-st

close-closest

3.以重讀閉音節結尾的詞，如末尾只有一個輔音字母，應先雙寫該字母，再加-est

hot-hottest

4.以“輔音字母+y”結尾的詞，先把 y變成 i，再加-est

busy-busiest

5.大部分雙音節和多音節單詞 在單詞前加 most

comfortable -most comfortable

6.不規則變化

good/well-best bad/badly/ill-worst

many/much-most little/least

far-farthest/furthest
