　　不用冠詞的情況

　　1）專有名詞，不可數(shù)名詞，人名，地名等名詞前，一般不加冠詞。

　　China,America, Smith, Beijing Railway Station

　　但是，當一個不可數(shù)名詞被限定時，它前面要用定冠詞。

　　還有 ，抽象變具體時，一般前面加不定冠詞。

　　The milk in the bottle has gone bad.

　　Physics is a science.

　　It’s a pleasure to go with you.

　　This is a surprise to me.

　　2) 可數(shù)名詞前有物主代詞，指示代詞，不定代詞，名詞所有格等限制時，不加冠詞。

　　This book is mine.

　　3）季節(jié)，月份, 星期，節(jié)日，一日三餐名稱前一般不加冠詞。

　　March, May Day, Sunday, National Day, Children’s Day

　　Have you had supper?

　　Spring is the best season of the year.

　　如果月份等被一個限定性定語修飾，就要加冠詞。

　　He joined the Army in the spring of 1992.

　　4）稱呼語及表示頭銜職務的名詞作賓語，補語，及同位語時，一般不加冠詞。

　　Premier Zhou , Professor Liu

　　What’s this, Mother.

　　Lincoln was made President of the United Sates again.

　　The president interviewed people.

　　5）學科名稱，球類，棋類名詞前不加冠詞。

　　Do you study mathematics?

　　6）表示泛指的復數(shù)名詞前不用冠詞。

　　They are workers.

　　7）在與by連用的交通工具名稱前不加冠詞。

　　by car,by bus , by air  , by road

　　但 take a bus, come in a boat,on the train/bus

　　8）表示語言的名詞前一般不用冠詞。

　　Chinese中文，English英文，F(xiàn)rench 法文，但是在 the Chinese language,

　　the English language 等中要用定冠詞。

　　9）在 turn（做“變成”解）后跟單數(shù)名詞，名詞前不加冠詞。

　　He was a medical student before he turned writer.

　　10)在一個 以“普通名詞（或形容詞最高級）+as” 開始的讓步狀語從語中,前面不用定冠詞。

　　Shortest though/as he is m he runs fastest in our class.

　　Disable woman as she is ,

　　Clever as she is
